CHARLES STOTT - Managing Director
Mr. Stott has been a C-level executive with both large and small multinational corporations, most recently running the M&A practice for Raytheon Company, a multi-billion dollar aerospace and defense corporation. His business credentials span such diverse industries as communications, consumer electronics and aerospace. With over three decades of experience, he has a track record of success in developing strategies that maximize profits in national and international markets.
Mr. Stott has successfully built and grown businesses, ranging from private start-up companies through publicly traded entities, both organically and by acquisition. Mr. Stott understands the merger and acquisitions arena for large, middle market and emerging enterprises and has developed proven processes that facilitate successful deal execution and value capture. The depth of his operational expertise allows him to bring a unique perspective to the total value equation.

JAMES C. (JAY) HUMPHLETT - Managing Director
Mr. Humphlett is co-founder and Managing Director for ValuePoint Growth Partners. He has over 20 years of industrial and military experience, most recently as the General Manager of Airborne Integrated Mission Systems for Raytheon Company, a multi-billion dollar aerospace and defense corporation. Prior to Raytheon, Mr. Humphlett was an investor with Palomar Ventures where he focused on investments in communications infrastructure, next-generation software, and Internet enabling technologies.
Mr. Humphlett was a Naval Flight Officer and flew F-14 Tomcats and F/A-18 Hornets. Mr. Humphlett earned a dual BE degree from Vanderbilt University in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the UCLA School of Business and is a graduate of the Navy "Top Gun" Fighter Weapons School. He is certified as a Six Sigma Specialist and also holds a Top Secret clearance with additional access levels.
